COVID-19 has fueled hate and bigotry across the country. The primary targets for COVID-19 related hate are Asian Americans but other groups such as the Navajo have also reported discrimination. The James Byrd Center has compiled important resources to combat COVID-19 related bigotry. During this public health crisis, we must all come together to say no to hate and stand in solidarity with targeted communities.
Stop AAPI Hate Report
Hate incidents against Asian Americans have increased rapidly in the wake of COVID-19. Asian Pacific Policy & Planning Council and Chinese for Affirmative Action created an online reporting tool to document incidents of coronavirus discrimination. The reporting form is currently in 11 languages and can be found here.
